What is the Neon+ X5?
Neon+ lists the X5 and X5 Plus as its brightest models, at 1600 ANSI lumens. For the X5, Neon+ lists a native 1920 × 1080 image, TOF laser focus, 10 W × 2 speakers, Android 11.0 and a 1.2:1 throw ratio, which Neon+ gives as a 38-inch image at 1 metre, with a 19 V power adapter and a weight of 2.36 kg. The X5 costs RM4,599 at the Neon+ shop.

The X5 Plus adds two wireless microphones for RM400 more (RM4,999).
Who needs 1600 ANSI lumens? Brightness matters most for larger images and for rooms that keep the lights on; the next brightest Neon+ models list 600 ANSI lumens (the V6 and V8). How room light and image size affect brightness.
The trade-off for a range sold as portable: at 2.36 kg, the X5 (with the X5 Plus) is the heaviest Neon+ model, and its published packing list has no tripod.
